Multi-zone kinetic-continuum simulation of an orbit correction thruster back flow around a space station
Gas exhaustion from thrusters mounted on the International Space Station (ISS) is numerically simulated by a multi-zone kinetic-continuum approach. The pressure on the probe located on the ISS is obtained, and comparisons with flight data are performed.
