Zusammenfassung:given the importance of sodium chloride (NACL)in several areas and its more importance in human health, a small, reasonably priced and more sensitive fiber interferometer concentration fiber sensor based on in offset fiber was fabricate to measure different concentration of NACL. This sensor was made by splicing a same length of coreless fiber (CF) between two single mode fibers (SMFs) in one side of different displacements. Where it has been proven that the sensitivity of the sensor is affected by the value of the offset, it was found that the greater the lateral displacement, the lower the sensor’s sensitivity. The best displacement that has the highest sensitivity compared to other displacements has been known (106.437nm/RIU). The results showed and proved that the offset technique is effective for improving the sensitivity of the sensor by comparing it with another sensor without offset of the same length, where its sensitivity was 74.56nm/RIU.
