Zusammenfassung: | Seed plants (spermatophytes) need to be identified because they are very diverse. This research aims to determine the diversity of seed plants around Porok Beach, Yogyakarta. Identifying the diversity of seed plants was conducted through vegetation analysis. The research method used was a survey method by direct observation and quantitative description of seed plants (spermatophytes) vegetation around Porok Beach, Yogyakarta. The research instrument was an observation sheet on the analysis of vegetation and diversity of spermatophytes around Porok Beach, Yogyakarta. The population in this research was all spermatophytes around Porok Beach, Yogyakarta. The sample in this research was the tree habitus plant seed around Porok Beach, Yogyakarta, which was taken by purposive sampling on a quadratic transect. The type of this research was the line transect and quadrat transect method; with the research design, making a line transect along 70m in the vegetation area of seed plants (spermatophytes). On the transect line, three plots or squares were made with a plot size of 10mx10m and a distance between plots of 10m. Each plot or square is repeated three times so that there are nine plots or squares. The results of the study concluded that there were five families, five species, and 33 individuals of seed plants (spermatophytes) around Porok Beach, Yogyakarta, including Casuarina equisetifolia (sea fir), Terminalia catappa (country almond), Pandanus odorifer (sea pandanus), Cocos nucifera (coconut), and Pemphis acidula (mentigi). The dominant seed plant (spermatophytes) in the area around Porok Beach, was tTrminalia catappa (country almond), with an IVI value of 0.85%. Therefore, the diversity of seed plants (spermatophytes) in the area around Porok Beach, Yogyakarta was classified as moderate, with a Diversity Index Value of 1.49. |
