Zusammenfassung: | The study aimed to determine the levels of various cytokines (IgE, complement C3, and a some interleukins ) in the immune response in two common skin disorders and to compare the levels of these cytokines based on the pathogen type. Twenty healthy people served as control group, with 30 patients have cutaneous warts and 30 patients suffering from scabies. The level of cytokines in the studied serum was determined. The results showed a significant rise in IgE and IL-10 levels (p ≤ 0.05) in all skin patients, as well as a rise in IL-6 and IL-8 levels in cutaneous warts patients and a non-significant rise in IL-6 and IL-8 levels in scabies patients and The outputs of the current study also showed that there were no significant changes in the IL-17A and complement C3 level of scabies and cutaneous warts patients. The findings indicated a larger increase of these parameters depending on the type of pathogen ; there increasing in in viral (warts) more than parasitic (scabies). |
