Zusammenfassung: | One of the key risk factors for cardiovascular disease and a disease with a growing worldwide burden is hypertension. Every year, the prevalence of hypertension rises, even in Ampenan City, which is made up primarily of coastal areas. Hypertension’s rising prevalence is linked to bad lifestyle choices and population density. Public health issues like hypertension may be impacted by the economic growth of coastal tourism. The purpose of this study is to identify the risk factors for high systolic or diastolic blood pressure in persons living in coastal villages in Ampenan. In a cross-sectional research, 179 participants were chosen at random from the Ampenan coastline region of West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Data were gathered by entering them in the Integrated Development Post for Non-Communicable Diseases logbook.
