Zusammenfassung:Since the development of the renewable energy system there was always a need to utilize the energy in order to achieve load demand without any loss. But practically, due to constraints, the particular system is unable to meet this criterion. Often systems are coupled with fuel-based sources like diesel generators in order to complete the missing load demand. Due to these constraints, supply is interrupted at non periodic intervals which brings fluctuations in the system. For Example: Consider a solar photovoltaic system (PV) for some application. Now the first constraint encountered is with respect to its specifications, i.e., losses, light induced degradation etc. Also, we have losses caused due to the environment, i.e., shading and soiling. Such effects due to the environmental conditions and other factors can be categorized as primary and secondary on the PV system. Primary includes the losses on the panel and load side while the secondary includes anomalies in the process components of the system like converters and inverters. Primary anomalies can be rectified by changing set-up, proper load setting, panel rating etc. While for secondary anomalies, it is required to make changes in the configuration settings itself by addition of different arrangement of passive components or diodes, drive system, etc. Taking the two categories into consideration can give an efficient solar PV system.
