Zusammenfassung: | Researchers are constantly looking for solving problems, and a known global problem is the final disposal of solid waste. Among the very hazardous materials when disposed of incorrectly are plastic waste, among them coffee capsules. Seeking a way to minimize the problem, this work proposes to produce blends composed of coffee capsules/thermoplastic starch reinforced by banana stalk fibers, another residue, and to characterize them mechanically. The fibers were selectively added in one of the blends phases, and some were superficially treated. Concentration and phase to which the fiber was added proved to be important in the mechanical properties of the blends. |
