Zusammenfassung:The paper presents the comparative study between various PID-type controllers for the inertial stabilized platform. This platform is known as gimbal system, which has the gyro in feedback, so it forms the complex system. Besides, the angular velocity control in this system is the challenging task. The objective of this paper is to find the best PID type controller from the literature for the single-axis gimbal system. The performance and effectiveness of the PID control approaches are assessed under the external torque-disturbances. The simulation results depict that the PID controller performs better in comparison to the other PID-type controllers for gimbal system.
