Zusammenfassung: | Proximate compositions of pearl millet seeds that were cultivated in Haryana, India has investigated. Pearl millet has grown in tropical semi-arid areas and highly nutritious in nature. Nutritive values such that moisture 11.07%, ash 1.66%, fat 4.77%, protein 7.58%, fiber 2.27%, carbohydrates content was 71.69% and energy 363.83kcal of millet has been determined. Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC) method were used to found the nutritious parameters. The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic (FTIR) data for same sample was obtain and analyzed. The fourier transform infrared analysis showed the presence of N‒H, O‒H and C‒O compounds in pearl millet. |
