Zusammenfassung: | Catalyst is an agent that enhances the reaction rate without itself being altered. It plays a major role in chemistry to ease the reaction and to obtain the products in maximum yield. Green chemistry utilizing green catalysts can be applied to nano catalyst and organic catalyst. Nanocatalysts with high activity, selectivity, durability, and recoverability are essential for enabling a broad range of potential developments and contribute to the resolution of current environmental, social, and industrial challenges. Catalytic performance of nano catalysts is enhanced due to the presence of support for nano materials increased specific surface area and increased surface energy. Organocatalysts are chiral or achiral organic molecules of low molecular weight, constituted by carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulphur and phosphorus which catalyzes a reaction in sub stochiometric amounts. This review focuses on the role of nano catalysts and organic catalysts as green catalysts, their mechanism and applications in the synthesis of benzimidazole analogues. |
