Zusammenfassung:Cooking is among the major reasons causing the amount of energy use globally and greenhouse gas emissions. One of the popular alternatives is solar cooking, since it is both expandable and affordable. Solar energy is easily accessible and doesn’t produce any harmful emissions. Research teams from all over the world are therefore still experimenting on enhancement technology in solar energy applications. The solar cooker is among the largest applications of solar energy was using to prepare food. But it is not commonly used by both industrial and residential applications because of the solar energy available mostly during daylight. Energy storage materials are used in order to retain the heat during the day. This paper explores the latest advances in solar cooking technology to demonstrate modern innovations and the present state of solar cooking technology. In addition, assessments of economic and social concerns of research and evaluations of solar cooking technologies are integrated. Finally, some relevant remedies for existing disadvantages are provided as a roadmap for more study of solar cooking technologies.
