Zusammenfassung: | The intensive development of space technology poses the task of creating fundamentally new structures. The problem of creating large-sized space structures comes down to the development of folding transformable structures that meet such contradictory requirements as minimum weight and volume in the folded transport state, high reliability of opening from the transport state to the working position and subsequent operation in orbit, stable operational characteristics under load conditions. It is advisable to use a material with the shape memory effect (SME) as an active element of the actuators for opening a transformable space structures. The force-deformation characteristics of wire active elements made of titanium nickelide material were obtained as a result of the experimental studies. |
