An investigation with emerging issues and preventive measures: Cloud computing perspective

Cloud computing technology has a significant impact on human lives and organizations; it is one of the most promising platforms. It facilitates numerous services for cloud users, service providers, and cloud providers. In the digital era, cloud computing provides a wide range of different computing services based on pay-as-you-go (PAYG) services through the internet. Although cloud services have become more convenient and profitable in recent years, maintaining consistent security standards on cloud infrastructure is a tedious task that must be prioritized. It improves processing speed, storage capacity, efficiency, and accuracy, yet has some critical security threats. This paper provides a brief overview of cloud computing with its potential security threats and issues in cloud infrastructure. These security issues and challenges hamper cloud computing technology. Furthermore, the impact of threats on security attributes that affect cloud computing and cloud services is explored. Additionally, this paper also focuses on a few distinct security countermeasures that can assist individuals and companies in avoiding cloud security threats.
