Zusammenfassung: | UNISBA, as a private university based on Islam, has developed a non-profit organization in the form of a zakat, infaq, and shadaqah management institution, namely Baitul Maal Unisba (BMU). The main programs run by BMU are scholarships and education bailout funds. In order to increase the trust of potential donors and attract more potential donors to support BMU’s work programs, this institution needs good management. This study aims to analyze the need for data and information required in decision making at BMU and to improve its ability to manage non-profit organizations. This research is a descriptive study that collects data using observation techniques, in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders, focus group discussions, transaction log analysis, and log metrics. The data of the observations were then compared with the literature study, especially those related to data and information needs and the performance analytic needs of non-profit organizations. The results of this study provide direction regarding the types of information and data needed for decision making in BMU management. In addition, the results of this study can also be used as a reference and source for further research in the form of making business intelligence applications. |
