A comparative study of the chemical active substances and antioxidants of the alcoholic extract of pith, cortex and seeds for Graviola plant

This study was detect the active compounds in the aqueous extract of the plant Annona muricatapeel by chemical reagents and solutions. The results related that the aqueous extract of A. muricatacontaining alkaloids, phenols, Flavanoids, terpenes, steroids, Saponins, glycosides. Thus, it could be concluded that A. muricata should be considered as a promising medicinal plant, because of its contents of active compounds, which are known by their medicinal properties, especially the antioxidant property.
