Zusammenfassung: | In this work, the modes properties for optical fibers with core radii (1.75–4.75) µm, core index (1.45) and cladding index (1.44) have been calculated at a wavelength of 633 nm by using RP Fiber Calculator (free version 2022). The core radius of each fiber is large compared to the wavelength. It has been concluded that the effective refractive index and the other properties of modes increase with increasing core radius; while the effective refractive index difference decreases. The intensity profiles of all modes were shown. |
