Zusammenfassung: | Incremental forming is one of the modern sheet metal forming processes, which has high flexibility and repeatability. This procedure is primarily used in the manufacturing of schematics or limited consignments of vehicles and aircraft modules, headlamp mirrors, and other components. IS 513 CR3 Deep Drawing quality steel sheets with a size of 0.6 mm were progressively constructed into pyramid contours in this research to analyze the diverse facets of maximization of assorted criteria during stepwise forming of the steel plate. Experimental studies were carried out with 3 distinct spindle speeds (1000, 1500, and 2000 rpm), 3 distinct tool feeds (1200, 1400, and 1600 mm/min), and 3 distinct sequence depths (0.4, 0.5, and 0.6 mm). The optimization of the progressively constructed steel sheets of IS: 513 CR3 Deep drawing quality steel was accomplished using Design expert software V 9.0.2.0. The optimization was done based on the experiments conducted on the steel sheets. The ANOVA and other results of the analysis are done by assuming a quadratic model by the response surface method. |
