Zusammenfassung:This paper deals with the selection of concepts in improving the hot corrosion, oxidation and erosion in the boiler tube material of SA213 T11. It deals with above said problems of hot-corrosion behaviour, oxidation and erosion of carbon nanotube (CNT)-reinforced chromium oxide coatings on boiler steel in a molten salt (Na2SO4−60wt%V2O5) environment at 700°C under cyclic conditions. The coatings were deposited via the high-velocity oxygen fuel process. The different coating powders and thermal spray method is using HVOF. Finally the structural characteristics of the deposits have been studied with the help of XRD, optical microscopy, SEM//EDAX and FESEM.
