Zusammenfassung: | The birth of premature infants (baby born before thirty-seven weeks of pregnancy) and sick baby who needs extra care created the need to create and develop an infant incubator. Unlike the mother’s womb, the air temperature and humidity may not suit a newborn baby, particularly premature babies and newborns with a disease. This forces the baby to adapt quickly to the new environment and factors. Infant incubators were designed to provide a safe environment for babies to develop their vital organs and safely adapt to the environment. In this study, a new design of an infant incubator was created using a low-cost and simple Arduino circuit that can be used in developing countries or countries that might be still developing, where advanced infant incubators may not be available. The design used a chamber made of plexiglass or what is known as acrylic glass, an uninterruptible power supply used to provide a DC source for the Infant Incubator, temperature sensor, humidity sensor, heater, and the fan ran on an alternating current source. An Arduino UNO R3 will control all Infant incubator parts. |
