Zusammenfassung: | Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that continuously requires medical care and has a high prevalence worldwide. Haematological and biochemical parameters have been experiential in patients with diabetes. This study aims to evaluate haematological, Biochemical parameters, and lipid profiles in patients with type2diabetes mellitus (T2DM). The study was carried out in Kerbala, Al-Hussein Medical City / Kerbala Governorate during the period from May 2021 to January 2022. 89 patients with T2DM with an age range of (34male and 55female), the ages among (17-84) years. A control group of 90 coordinated normal individuals. Data were collected using Microsoft Word and analyzed by SPSS (V.20) and Microsoft Excel (2019). The results of the current study found enzymes (AST,ALT and ALP) in T2DM patients and health groups. It was found a significantly increasing (p≥0.05) in AST and ALT in T2DM patients related to control groups, whereas ALP levels show a significantly decrease in T2DM patients related to control groups (p≥0.05). Kidney function in diabetic and controls groups. While the lipid profile was found significantly decreased (HDL cholesterol and total cholesterol) (p≥0.05) in patients than health groups, there was a highly significantly increase in triglyceride among the two groups (p≥0.05). Glucose (mg/dL) and S. Ferritin were found significantly increased (p≥0.05). RBC, HB, MCH, HCT and MCHC were significantly decreased in individually T2DM patients and controls groups, and MCV and platelet were significant increased (p≥0.05) in patients than health groups. Although WBC count, neutron. and lymph. were significant increased (p≥0.05) in T2DM patients than health groups. It was concluded that the evaluation of hematological and biochemical parameters displayed a highly significantly association with T2DM contributors associated with the health groups. |
