Use of multiyear tool: An open tool for the synthetic generation of plausible solar years of coupled GHI and DNI with 1-min resolution

Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, we present a description of how to use a web based tool Multiyear that uses the model developed by Larrañeta et al. [1]. The tool is suited for the synthetic generation 1-min coupled GHI and DNI Plausible Solar Years (PSY) for any location where an extended database is available. The tool requires at least 10 annual time series in 1-h resolution, and provides 100 annual time series in 1-min resolution. We have applied the tool for the location of (Seville) and qualitatively evaluated its performance in the annual, monthly, daily and 1-min resolution showing great similitudes between observed and synthetic sets. |
