Zusammenfassung:Maintenance is essential to many operations. It extends equipment life, improves equipment availability, and retains equipment in proper condition. Therefore, proper maintenance is required to achieve smooth production. Many companies have implemented Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in their production line. However, most TPM implementations are not evaluated properly. This study aims to develop an evaluation model for the TPM implementation in the cement plant. The indicators are identified based on Autonomous Maintenance (AM) concept. The indicators are then validated to industry practices. Next, the importance weight of the indicators is determined using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Finally, an evaluation model for the TPM implementation in the cement plant is developed, consisting of the indicators, the importance weight of the indicators, and the scoring scale of the indicators. The results show that the availability of lubrication procedures has been regarded as the most important indicator with an importance weight of 0.1273. It is followed by availability of standard for inspection procedure (0.0813), availability of cleaning tools (0.0797), availability of standard for tightening procedure (0.0632), and availability of standard for cleaning procedure (0.0619). It can be concluded that the availability of maintenance procedures are considered very important to evaluate the TPM implementation in cement plant. The evaluation model is expected to assist the cement plant in evaluating the TPM implementation to improve manufacturing performance continuously.
