Self service food corner (SSFC) based on smart system to support modernization of canteen or restaurant services and prevention of Covid-19

This paper begins with the many efforts that have been made to prevent the Covid-19 virus disease. The New Normal lifestyle must be applied and be implemented automatically in society. Wearing a mask, washing hands with a soap, keep a distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility. In addition, there are many regulations in the public places that must enforced, such as maintaining a distance when “sholat” in the mosque, providing hand sanitizer, and hand washing equipment in public places (in front of shops, restaurants, hotel lobbies, etc.), checking body temperature for visitors (shops, malls, hotels, tourist attractions, etc.), as well as various other regulations. The New Normal lifestyle is absolutely applied, including in canteens or restaurants that apply the “buffet or self-service” concept, like restaurants in the most hotels. In this study, the method used is simulation to make the next prototype. The precision and accuracy the sensor is the data looking for. The precision and accuracy of the sensor is connected to the actuator. All of that is controlled using the microcontroller. The result is a prototype design and electronic circuit design. From there, the movement of the prototype that has been designed can be simulated. When the people want to eat one kind of food, the people just put hands in front of the picture (touchless). The food what do you want will served automatically without waiters.
