Zusammenfassung: | It is vital to conduct research on the cultivation performance and analysis of durian farming by farmers in order to facilitate the advancement of required technologies. The purpose of this study was to ascertain the existing durian technology, productivity, and financial viability in Dairi Regency at the time. Following that, recommendations for technology improvements can be made to increase the output and quality of Dairi durian fruit. It incorporated a survey and focus group sessions (FGD). The findings indicated that durian farming was conducted in conjunction with other crops. The planting area is a sloped area with no terracing (50 %) and no tillage. Plant care consisted solely of weeding, with no irrigation or application of fertilizers or pesticides. The durian survey location has a low P and C-organic concentration, but a moderate K content and a moderate pH. Increased farmer income can be accomplished through boosting productivity on and off the farm through technology advancements. Technology advancements in durian farming are required, including seed quality improvement through the selection of indigenous excellent varieties and the application of integrated pest and disease control. To anticipate price changes, farmers want a collective warehouse to store Durian when the market price is extremely low. Institutional education must be strengthened to enable farmers to socialize Durian agriculture technology and innovation.
