Analysis of transport accessibility of bus stations in Yekaterinburg

One of the important indicators of the efficiency of the route network is transport accessibility, which is considered as the time spent on moving from one point to another. This indicator affects the degree of satisfaction of the population with transport services. The article presents the results of calculating the transport accessibility of bus stations in the city of Yekaterinburg when driving on public transport. The transport accessibility is analyzed during the movement of passengers on intercity flights (external transport accessibility) and movement on public transport of the city in the urban transport system (internal transport accessibility). To assess the transport accessibility of bus stations by public transport, the distance and travel time to bus stations from various points of the city were calculated. An analysis of public transport was carried out for each district and the city as a whole. The main results of the analysis are given and recommendations are proposed for optimizing the city’s transport system.
