Zusammenfassung: | This research work deals with the study, strategy analysis, of battery charge controller for Islanded Micro Grid topology. Proposed system is verified with MATLAB Simulink and same system can be executed in hardware using the results. The projected scheme of Micro Grid consists of solar PV, Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine, Batteries, Buck-Boost Converter, Inverter for AC loads, Charge Controller for batteries and various types of active and passive loads. All AC types of loads are connected through a Voltage Source Inverter. Micro grid is able to operate either in Islanding or in Grid connected manner. In this proposed strategy, Charge Controller is designed for Islanded mode of operation and utility connections are possible with Static Transfer Switch and an appropriate Transformer. Planned network topology of Micro grid is based on Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) such as Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Fuel Cells, and Diesel Generators etc. Further this scheme is individually separated into design of Buck Converter, suitable Charge Controller and Inverter as per load Requirement. The designed charge controller for Micro grid lab test bed will be undergone the different analysis about Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), transient behavior and other analysis regarding power system such as improvement of Power Factor on load side. By the use of DERs in the Micro grid topology it is very beneficial to the environment as there is enormous use of Renewable Energy Resources. |
