Zusammenfassung:In today's era, the mobile forensic has gained substantial importance due to the fast pace of revolution in the technology of the mobile smartphones. There are various mobile forensic tools that currently exist which are also evolving to meet the needs of technological advancements in the mobile technology. However the forensic tools focus on the efficiency of the extraction and decoding of the mobile artifacts that can be the evidence in front of the court. But in order to increase the admissibility of the digital evidence in front of the judiciary system, the digital evidence integrity protection mechanism is the need of time. Whenever the immutability and the security of the digital entity that is distributed into the pool of authorities come into focus, the Blockchain Technology is the best choice to resolve the problem. The proposed work suggests the use of Blockchain technology for giving an assurance against the possible mutation in the digital evidence which is done with malicious intention and enhance its secure storage during the chain of custody of the digital evidence thought the forensic process.
