Zusammenfassung: | Dementia, a type of cognitive brain dysfunction that includes Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s illnesses, affects people of all ages, genders, and geographical locations. Dementia is caused by a loss of neuro transmission caused by a fault in synapses in neurons, which is a difficult process to diagnose. These chronic illnesses have a direct impact on patients’ lifestyles, therefore early identification and treatment with drugs and non-pharmaceutical therapies reduce the stress that healthcare infrastructure and caregivers encounter. This review identifies and disseminates the clinical characteristics and consequences of dementia, as well as various radiological techniques for determining the extent of brain damage. |
