Japan, Singapore and Korea are selected as the analyzed countries, as one of the leaders in the field of intelligent transport systems. A comparative analysis of their effectiveness is carried out. The advantages and disadvantages of the using the considered systems are revealed. The positive effects from the implementation and use of the analyzed systems are noted. It is concluded that intelligent transport systems have positive effects on the operation of transport system. The highlighted positive effects serve as a justification of directions for increasing road safety using intelligent transport systems.
