Zusammenfassung: | PS-AOPs (Persulfate-Based Advanced Oxidation Process) is one of the methods used to reduce organic pollutants produced from liquid wastes. The most promising material that can be used to assist the persulfate activation process is carbon material. Carbon material has good catalysis activity, good adsorption capacity, and environmentally friendly properties, so that, it can be applied to assist the degradation process of many types of organic contaminants. This paper describes a systematic review of the degradation efficiency and mechanism of persulfate activation using carbon materials and their combinations. In particular, the influence of synthesis and reaction conditions on its activation process is comprehensively discussed. The use of carbon materials in activating persulfate for pollutant degradation in water and wastewater is reviewed. |
