Zusammenfassung:The paper gives coverage on the providing universal design approaches in the public building design regarding the pandemic risks. It is proved that universal design principles meet the requirements of counteracting to the SARS-COV-19 pandemic. The effectiveness of their use as a way to control virus spreading is proved by practical examples. There are considered the examples of providing architectural and information universal accessibility of public buildings in Ukraine and abroad.
