BIM modeling for life cycle of building: Modern realities and development demands in Russia

BIM-modeling is gradually being introduced in Russia in the design and organization of construction production of civil engineering facilities. But the possibilities of digital BIM technologies are much more extensive than how they are used today in Russia and can cover the entire life cycle of an object. The article presents the process of information modeling for an energy-efficient residential building at different stages of the life cycle, which can be partially applied in civil construction. The introduction of information modeling technologies can solve many problems of owners for reconstruction, management of engineering systems and maintenance of the property of the house, especially in field of housing and communal services for apartment buildings.
