Study of TGF-β immune marker expression in mice exposed to Candida spp
This study includes (96) mice, divided into (12) groups, (6) mice were immunosuppressive by hydrocortisone, and the other (6) mice were non- immunosuppressive. Each group includes (8) mice, (2) of them were set as control (negative without any treatment, and other were positive control). All mice we...

Zusammenfassung: | This study includes (96) mice, divided into (12) groups, (6) mice were immunosuppressive by hydrocortisone, and the other (6) mice were non- immunosuppressive. Each group includes (8) mice, (2) of them were set as control (negative without any treatment, and other were positive control). All mice were intraperitoneal injected by resist and non-resist Candida spp to achieve fungal infection in the liver and lung. This study detects immune expression in exposure mice by immune mark (TGF- β). Histopathological study demonstrates inflammation after (14) days. Immune expression intensity was so clear in inhibit mice tissue and injected with resist Candida (>50) according to scoring intensity of immune expression. While the results show moderate degree with score (>50) in the lung, and these results were different in infected mice by sensitive isolate while the results were (30-50) as a moderate score. In the non- immunosuppressive mice, the immune expression was less compared with previous group. Results in liver varies between moderate staining (30-50) in case of resist and weak staining (10-30) score in sensitive isolate. These results were compared with the normal tissue which has no staining (>10) according to the criteria of scoring system. |
