Zusammenfassung: | 3D printing is an additive manufacturing technology that can print 3 Dimensional (3D) objects and make it possible to make products with varied, hollow or complex models, so that it will encourage people to produce creative product designs. 3D printing machine type Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is a method commonly used in 3D Printing technology. This study focuses on the selection of components, namely the coupling to produce printed objects with good surface roughness quality. The material used in this research is PolyLactic Acid (PLA). Measurements were made using an outside micrometer and a surface roughness tester. The method used in this study is an experimental method with reference to the nozzle temperature and printing speed parameters. The results of the study show flexible coupling with rubber is a coupling that produces the best smoothness quality compared to fixed couplings and flexible couplings without rubber |
