Zusammenfassung: | Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by high blood glucose and altered fat and protein metabolism resulting from defects in insulin secretion, insulin action (sensitivity), or both. Diabetes mellitus is primarily associated with several factors, specifically age, obesity, family history, impaired glucose metabolism, and lifestyle. This research was intended to determine the effectiveness of watermelon rind ethanol extract on blood glucose levels in Alloxan-induced diabetic rats using the GOD-PAP method, and to determine MDA levels. This research was classified as experimental research. The data were analyzed using the One Way ANOVA (Analysis of Variant) method with sig=0.05 to identify a significant difference between the Control group, Test Group I, II, III, IV, and V. If the value of F count>F table, then no significant difference was found. Therefore, it should be continued with the LSD Post Hoc Test to determine the differences between each treatment group. However, if F count |
