Zusammenfassung:Hybrid composites are widely used in various applications in the structural components of aircraft, automobile, sports goods and consumer products. The aim of this research is to make hybrid composite by laying mesh made of stainless steel and synthetic fiber (glass) as support with epoxy as matrix. To obtain improved thermal properties through design of stacking sequence and precise fabrication parameters are adopted. These laminates are prepared to achieve better impact toughness. In this study the thermal stability of both laminates viz., non-hybrid and hybrid composites are analyzed by conducting thermo gravimetric analysis and the test results were also discussed. These types of laminates may be useful in automobile parts such as engine guards and panels.
