Zusammenfassung:The use of technology such as System Application and Product in Data Processing in the company is very important to increase the competitiveness and efficiency of the company in document management. This study aimed to determine the impacts and efforts to cope with the negative impacts. The method used is descriptive qualitative data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results showed that the impact that occurred at PT Bahtera Energi Samudra Tuah, which are: the positive impact of data can be directly monitored by the owner using SAP has better communications between divisions, more communication between divisions within the company, owners can immediately approve documents, the flow of documents is classified clearly, on the other the preparation of shipping documents hand slows down, the process of sending documents and payments is approved doubled, the waiting time for spare part to be sent is longer, new problems arise in SAP after the assistance is complete and the disbursement of shipping funds is waiting for the documents to be completed. The efforts made by PT Bahtera Energi Samudra Tuah are to plan to deliver periodically, carry out document flow according to SAP standards, conduct training, and regular meetings regularly.
