Zusammenfassung: | In many cases, the construction of bridges causes disruptions to the flow of traffic. Before a construction begins, it is crucial to conduct analysis and simulation with different traffic management scenarios. The purpose of this research is to analyze the adverse impact of Tawing Bridge 1 construction to surrounding road traffic and possible solutions. The four-stage transportation modeling process is applied in processing data using visum and vissim transportation program applications. The results reveal that during the Tawing 1 bridge construction, the road traffic performance decreased by -53.9%. Efforts made to anticipate a decrease in road traffic performance (vcr and speed) during construction is to make arrangements for the movement of vehicle weaving traffic in and out of the project site around the bridge. Efforts to handle traffic by regulating vehicle weaving traffic can improve traffic performance by 19.69%. This alternative solution is quite effective, but its success is determined by the level of compliance of road users, for that clear sign and marking is required with the help of strict law enforcement. |
