Zusammenfassung: | This study aims to examine the impact of the personality traits among child care employees towards the aim for safety performance in child care organizations. An online questionnaire survey was used to collect data from a sample of 57 respondents involved in the child care organizations. The questionnaire was developed based on past research, where the traits were measured using six (6) items, and safety performance was assessed via five (5) items. The second generation of SMART-PLS software was used to check the construct reliability and validity and further analysis in hypothesis testing through the structural equation modeling. Based on the results, the role of employees' personality traits significantly impacted the child care safety performance. Thus, the child care practitioners should recruit the child care employees by assessing their traits, which is empirically proved to support the child care safety performance for their stakeholders, especially towards the children they serve. Future research may further investigate the child care employee's career development to improve their traits, behavior, and capability to seek safety performance in the child care industry contexts. |
