Zusammenfassung: | The world around us is growing at a fast pace and with it, the demand for petroleum products is also increasing. However, petroleum products are conventional fuels and are available only in limited regions in the world. In addition to this, excessive utilization of these fuels will increase pollution and is a cause of worry for many countries. Researchers around the world have begun to search for alternative fuels and biodiesel are the most important alternative fuels. Biodiesel is extracted from vegetable oils like neem, coconut, linseed, hemp, jatropha, etc. An analytical study was done on the effect of neem oil blend with diesel on the parameters like performance and emission characteristics of CI diesel engines. This study concluded that a blends of neem oil and ethanol resulted in optimal performance and reduced NOx emissions by 22%. |
