Zusammenfassung:Light pollution has become mainstream pollution across the world. Exposure to bright light throughout the day is harmful. There is evidence that artificial lighting throughout a day produces serious consequence to human health and environment. The light pollution due to artificial light can also disrupt the natural circadian cycle of species. There is a huge difference between the study of the effects of light pollution and the parameters of light pollution. We conducted an online survey from January to April 2021 in.Lucknow, India. A questionnaire containing several questions was distributed among people. 100 people have participated. A Linear Regression model was built. The software used for this study was MaxStat Pro. The study is aimed to measure the effect of artificial light on sleep time in Lucknow, India. 46% female and54% male participated in the study. The study performed was statically significant. And the increase in exposure time in the artificial light was causing a decrease in the sleep hour.
