Zusammenfassung: | Plug in hybrid vehicles is a special kind of vehicle which uses two sources of energy for its day-to-day commutation. Batteries are charged using the power grid which runs the motor, thereby reducing the amount of fuel needed for the internal combustion engine. It is essential to design a bidirectional ac-dc converter for this function, with which the battery can be recharged from the grid, battery energy can be used to inject back to the grid when required and an overall ac stabilization. In this article, the PHEV bi-directional ac-dc converter design specs are discussed: Basically, two topologies are used for PHEV, these topologies are analyzed. Creating an efficient bi-directional AC-DC converter for plugin hybrid electric vehicle is discussed. The simulation result under MATLAB/SIMULINK shows the working characteristic of bi-direction ac-dc converter. |
