Design and development of self levelling side stand

Two wheelers are one of the most important modes of transport in the world. It is used for various purposes such as travelling, commuting, work etc. The advantage of two-wheeler is easy to park, easy to move in traffic and compact in design. The side stand is used to park the two-wheeler with less effort and of course easy to engage and disengage as compared to double stand. Few bikes such as Yamaha YZF R15v3.0, KTM duke/RC series and other high-end bikes utilises only side stand for parking. Therefore, side stand is vital part of two-wheeler as it bears the weight of the vehicle on stand mode. But due to some urgency and other unavoidable reasons, people are forgetting to disengage the side stand before riding and suffer irreparable loss. Therefore, in order to avoid such accident self-levelling side stand is required. In this paper Arduino circuit is used in order to retract side stand automatically.
