Zusammenfassung: | Cylindrical milling is a metal removal process that is widely used in the final application. Surface treatment is an important output parameter in the production process in terms of quality. Cylindrical milling is an important procedure for finishing parts that require smooth surfaces and precise tolerances. Various cylindrical parameters of the grinding process includes depth of cut, heat treatment and the speed, grain size of the wheel and grinding speed. Sample hardness, sample speed and depth of cut are taken into account as input to the process. Its main goal is to forecast surface roughness and removal of material speed to achieve optimal process parameters. The optimization process uses the Taguchi optimization method and optimizes multiple response by ranking. The experiments were performed on a cylindrical grinder with a rectangular lattice L9. |
