Zusammenfassung:Despite the increasing use of the wireless sensor network in many applications, especially critical ones, exploiting the full potential of this network is very difficult due to many challenges. In general, sensor data contains a huge number of redundant data that change the overall network performance. In recent years, a data aggregation scheme played an important role in wireless networks to overcome many of its issues. This paper is divided into third parts, the first part focused on a description of the wireless sensor networks and their general structure with the main components of the sensors. The second part deals with data aggregation techniques and their role in the wireless sensor network and providing a comprehensive and accurate survey of the literature that applied these techniques. Finally, it covered the main differences between data aggregation techniques as well as the pros and cons of these techniques.
