Zusammenfassung:Today belt transmissions are popular in different areas of mechanical engineering, due to the lowest cost at high reliability, which are provided by the simplicity of design and high indicators of its parts manufacturability. The belt transmission consists of the following parts: a belt, a drive pulley and a driven pulley (additional parts may also be used). Determination of values, directions and points of interaction forces application of these parts will allow evaluating the efficiency of belt transmission. The analysis of interaction by calculation-graphical method of determination all forces acting in the belt contour plane will simplify their finding. It is necessary to take into account peculiarities of elastic belt operation on rigid pulleys and the way of its preliminary (initial) tensioning. Using of this method will allow accurately estimate parameters of belt transmission operation and simplify its design with the necessary indicators.
