| Zusammenfassung: | The paper presents a compact and simple semi-circular microstrip antenna with an ultra-wideband feature. The proposed antenna comprises of a semi-circular patch and a slotted ground plane. The slot is positioned in the ground plane’s center to improve impedance matching at the ultrawide band. The final design has a dimension of 29mm*28mm*1.6mm, which exhibits return loss below −15 dB in the entire UWB range. Physical measurements of the fabricated antenna prototype justify the simulation performance. |
