Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of this research is to provide a critical review of the choice of market entry modes in Indonesia's high-technology industries in order to establish a firm strategy to enhance Indonesia's industrial competitiveness. In order to achieve this objective, the descriptive analysis from the latest detailed data released from the annual survey Indonesian Manufacturing Industry in 2017 is addressed. The results are based on a sample of 4,903 firms in Indonesia's high-technology industry. Based on the hierarchical model of market entry modes, we categorize ownership as part of the equity-based, export, value chain, royalty as part of non-equity-based. The analysis provides explanations for the strategy chosen by a particular industry to enter the market. |
