Zusammenfassung: | This paper reviews the valuable information accessible on utilization of superconductivity phenomenon in the transportation sector. Its objective is to give a general image of electric vehicle innovation and methods of future advancement to aid future explorations in this area. Subsequently, the usage of properties of superconductors for the activity of vehicles such as ships, aircraft, trains, and cars is a major savior of environment. The superconductor is a material that permits the reduction of losses to a great extent, which stimulated the interest of automobiles companies in this area, to inquire the architecture design of the vehicles utilizing superconductors. The possibility of the usage of high temperature superconductors in eco-friendly electric vehicles is made possible by small adiabatic cryogenic structures and with an improved high temperature superconductor. Furthermore, when liquid hydrogen is utilized in an ideal hybrid vehicle as a fuel, at the same time it functions as a coolant thus eliminating the need for a cooling device in the system. The paper also discusses the most recent advancement for the usage of superconductors in transportation, such as in magnetically levitated trains (Maglev) and cars. |
