Zusammenfassung: | This study aims to develop students' logical-mathematical intelligence by integrating the Bugis-Makassar ethnic tradition of Sulapa Eppa Walasuji with the help of an android application. Sulapa Eppa Walasuji can be integrated into learning through shapes Walasuji that resemble transformation geometry and contain character values in the Bugis tradition, namely 3S (Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, Sipakalebbi). This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent kind of control group design. Use the purposive sampling technique to select two classes, namely class XI MIPA 2 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 1 as the control class with each sample size of 28 students. The research instruments used include test instruments, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the logical-mathematical intelligence of students with the integration of Sulapa Eppa Walasuji had an increase of 0.91, more significant than the control class, which only increased by 0.50. This result is reinforced by the teacher and student responses analysis, which shows a favorable preference of 3.91. Therefore, integrating the Bugis-Makassar ethnic tradition of Sulapa Eppa Walasuji with the help of an android application can be used as an alternative solution in learning mathematics, especially for students' mathematical logic. |
